Anne Therese Lester

Anne Therese Lester, July 1951 -

VP candidate for Independent (2012)

Running mate with nominee: Dale Michael Hoinoski (b. 1949)
Popular vote: 0 (0.00%)
Electoral vote: 0/538

The campaign:

Dale "Skip" Hoinoski of Greenwood, Mo. was making his second of three consecutive attempts for the White House in 2012. It is only campaign where I can identify a running-mate, Anne Therese Lester of Kansas City, Mo. Hoinoski filed with the FEC on Nov. 6, 2011.

Originally from Las Vegas, Hoinoski was a retired Marine and a veteran of Vietnam and Iraq. He had been a private contractor for "Operation Iraqi Freedom," gained a masters degree in computer science information systems, and drove an 18-wheeler.

Most online sources covering Hoinoski's 2012 race have been deleted and his electioneering efforts received little news coverage. There are a few Youtubes that remain, and Hoinoski's conservative political message is infused with his Catholic faith. He later ran for the US Senate, and in that campaign he summarized his political platform--

I am rude and if elected I will stop all abortions and I will identify what a marriage is between a man and woman! Only I will not be able to do this by myself I will asked the American populace, by allowing us to add two additional amendments. First an second to identifying the abortion issue an the same sex marriage issue, America will decide on this, not the media, not the courts, not the judges and not the Supreme Court! America will deman this of our Congress; and the Senate will follow! In addition I'll get the same healthcare Congress has; I will ask to legalize marijuana, an I will support the constitution and the Second Amendment! In addition if you are here legally, as President I will asked you to become an American citizen, (Take the test) otherwise you will have one year! if a grandmother's has been here 20 years an does not become a citizen by earning it she's then going to going home !

The ticket did present themselves together once on a Youtube thanking supporters.

The Hoinoski/Lester ticket did not appear on any ballots nor were they registered as write-ins in any state that I can find. If they won the election, the Constitution would have had a problem with the two of them being residents of the same state.

Election history: none

Other occupations: postal worker

Wife of a USMC veteran.
