The campaign:
Samuel L. Hurt, aka Levi Chevarim Hurt, was a Pittsburgh-based associate rabbi for the Church of God and Saints of Christ, a religion categorized as belonging to the Black Hebrew Israelites.
Hurt developed a pattern, in 2012 and after, of thinking out loud when it came to running-mates and trying different combinations before settling on a choice. Using social media as his main method of campaigning, tracking his tickets can be challenging.
On Sept. 12, 2011 Hurt indicated he wanted Cornel West on his ticket, adding the comments--

The GOP and the DNC are one in the same, created by the Oligarchy to protect adding insurance for their goals, making us think it is a two party system when in essence only party is their party! AMERICA'S REVITALIZATION PLAN (5773) 2012 ... This is a non conventional way of running a campaign! However, it will prove to be effective in convincing many Americans, I am a better candidate than Obama and Romney! Considering the condition our country is in, the many problems brought on from the last republican President, George Bush, and now, the many problems brought on by the failure of our current President's inability to generate support from the republican constituents; many Americans are disenfranchised with both Democrat and Republican candidates vying for the 2012 Presidency! America's future depends on revitalizing our economy, massive job creation, regulating the banks and Wall Sheet, decreasing the military budget (by eliminating all inflated costs associated with the manufacture of weapons of mass destruction), eliminating special perks, in lieu of: high retirement packages and expense accounts of the senators and congressmen/women! The only way to stabilize America's economy is through a Massive Public Work Program. My first 90 days of the Presidency, I will sign an Executive Order allocating 3.5 trillion dollars for business expansion. creating new businesses manufacturing products that Americans are currently purchasing from aboard. Concerning the current 17 trillion dollar deficit, much owed to China, I will negotiate a settlement, based on a percentage on the dollar, and than I will sign an Executive Order commissioning the Federal Reserve to print what ever the settlement amount is to pay off our debt with China. That old myth about our dollars being backed by gold bullion is just that a myth. Much of the problem has been that the major lenders are keeping the currency out of circulation, and the only way to recirculate the currency is to make more currency available. I will regulate all the banks, credit card companies, and other lending institutions, signing an Executive Order to set the interest rates eliminating competition, competition that causes Predatory Lending, causing consumers to be victimized and exploited by over inflated charges, hidden and excessive charges, and high interest rates. America's future is dependent on taking strong measures, cleaning up the malfeasance and corrupt practices that has existed in the banking industry and Wall Street since Privatizing the Federal Reserve! The Federal Reserve will no longer be a separate corporate entity owned by the major shareholders controlling the banking industry. All money will be printed by the Federal Government, and the Federal Government will control and distribute all currency! Pertaining to Al Qaeda, and the threat of terrorism, America will withdraw all troops from Afghanistan and Iraq, we will maintain our base in Bahrain, instructing the President of Bahrain, to treat and put in place a Humanitarian Policy; treating the women and men of Bahrain in a humane way! America can not continue to fund the many countries and/or buy friendship. Either the countries will be a friend to America receiving humanitarian aid, in lieu of: goods and services, or America will cease and desist all effort to those not friends to us! This includes Israel! Israel will not receive the annual allocation until a solution is agreed upon by Israel and the Palestinian Authority resolving the conflict and tHreat of terrorist attacks! America will be a friend to all, if they let us, and if not, America will defend itself from all enemy both foreign and domestic! America will maintain it's military might, and will be prepared to defend against any and all posing a threat! Be clear, we will be a friend to all, who are friends to us. On June 12, 2012 Hurt announced he wanted US Attorney General Eric Holder as his Vice-President. He became a registered write-in candidate in Minnesota under the name Levi Chevarim Hurt apparently with Holder as the running-mate.
On June 25, 2012, Hurt dropped Holder as a VP and selected David Suzuki as a replacement--
A MUST READ FOR EVERY YOUNG VOTER: YOUR LIFE AND YOUR CHILDREN'S LIFE IS AT RISK.....I am appealing to the young generation of voters to take action against mother earth being destroyed! Our water, air, and land is in jeopardy! During the G20 summit, the world leaders turned their backs, closed their ears, and wouldn't put in place measures to combat climate change! If you, the young people, do not address this issue, your children will not have earth to reside on! The Supreme Court Justices, supposedly, the brightest minds, even they will not address this matter! Young people, you voted for Obama in 2008, remember how he talked about alternative energy sources, and now he's agreeing to build the pipeline from Alberta, Canada, to Nebraska, to transport oil abroad! In the past, I was considering Attorney General, Eric Holder, as the Vice President! Today, I am considering a renowned Ecologist and Professor to be the next Vice President of the United States, a person who understands and has knowledge of what must be done to save Mother Earth for you, and your children in the future! On Sept. 13, 2012 Hurt declared he wanted Rae Abileah for Vice-President. Since she was the final name he mentioned before Election Day I am going to take a risk and assume Abileah was considered the running-mate.
In 2012 Abileah was a peace activist associated with Codepink in San Francisco and was involved with civil disobedience disruptions at the national conventions of both major parties. In Mar. 2012 she was arrested in Vancouver, BC when Codepink protesters stripped down to pink bras in the Bank of America.
But her most newsworthy protest took place in May 2011, when she heckled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech in the US Congress. She shouted, "No more occupation! Stop Israel war crimes! Equal rights for Palestinians! Occupation is indefensible!" Abileah was roughly taken down by audience members and security, landing her in a neck brace and hospital stay where she was arrested.
Minnesota did not report any votes for Hurt. In the event of a Hurt/Abileah victory, there would have been a Constitutional problem since the VP was under the age of 35 in 2012.
