The campaign:
Ronald Evans of Bolton, Conn. made an Independent campaign for President in 2016 as a registered write-in in his home state only. His running-mate was Jason M. Fitch of Gansevoort, N.Y.
The Evans/Fitch campaign was another under-the-radar effort, which is my way of saying there is very little documentation out there about their electioneering except to say we know they existed. One major problem in the event of their victory was that Fitch was under the Constitutionally mandated age 35, barely.
