The campaign:
Daniel Paul Zutler of Port Richey, Fla. filed as an Independent for President with the FEC in Apr. 2015. His running-mate was his cousin (or cousin-in-law, it isn't clear), Valerie Michaels of New Windsor, N.Y.
Zutler used several different social media platforms as a method to campaign. Most of his online electioneering has been erased, but chunks of a Tumblr account still exists. Here we see what motivated him to run, although the stated date of May 25, 2015 was actually after he filed in Apr. 2015--
At approximately 4:30 am Est on May the 25th 2015 while being awoken by cable news and witnessing a bleak outlook for our Nation and a sea of candidates pouring in, with little more to offer than the same old rhetoric. Our Nation crumbling out from underneath us, Mr. Zutler was so moved, that the necessity to take action so future generations could have prosperity left him little choice but to be more than change. Mr. Zutler formulated his plan of action for this Nation and knew what he was meant to do take on the biggest task that can be undertaken. Mr. Zutler entered into the Presidential race for 2016 and took all the necessary steps to run as a bonafied registered candidate. Mr. Zutler had been asked, “What do you know about politics and economics? and “What do you have to offer if you are elected President”? Mr. Zutler stated" “Let me be perfectly frank with you”, Daniel Zutler reinforced that he had no political background , but being 52 years old and having a good working knowledge of the U S Constitution, combined with living through nine U S Presidents, their failures and triumphs allowed Mr. Zutler the ability to excise they’re best qualities. Mr. Zutler stated, “Having various experiences and knowledge of running small businesses in conjunction with and some legal knowledge gained through varying career paths allowed for the insight into what needs to be done”. Mr. Zutler elaborated on the fact that Presidents do not work alone there are numerous aides, counselors and advisors. Daniel also stressed the fact that the Presidency was never a one-person job. Mr. Zutler was clear on the complexities of our legal system in Government and that we must for the good of the people bring it into an understandable focus. Mr. Zutler stated" If you have an understanding that the epicenter of Government which is The U S Congress and U S Senate". In that cross, party cooperation must be obtained for the good of the people, as elected representatives of the people. When our voices are muffled by personal agendas then nobody wins, not the Nation nor its citizens. It is the opinion and observation of Mr. Zutler that by reelecting the same representatives whom do not adhere to the voices of the people, then we reward bad behavior by voting the same individuals into office election after election then nothing can or will improve. Mr. Zutler said the voice of the people has been heard and will continue to be heard during his administration of the Nation. As President, Mr. Zutler will make every attempt to bring both houses and parties together for the greater vision and mission. Daniel Zutler said,“ I am seeing this great Nation bogged down in debt just like each of our citizens”. The People need to voice their opinions in order to rebuild our Nation and return it to where it once was. Mr. Zutler will make every effort so our Nations Citizens through hard work will have the means to support their families and prosper, in turn still have time to enrich their children with needed family time before they are grown and spending a lifetime searching for lost youth. Daniel believed that in being an unknown candidate that we have the ability to win the election by virtue of gaining the trust of the people through honesty and clarity of the mission. My fellow Americans;
I would like to introduce myself my name is Daniel Paul Zutler and I am an independent candidate for U.S. President. I am from Brooklyn NY and live in Tampa Bay Florida. Where with my wife of 30 years have raised three children and in 2006 began raising our 8-year-old grandson. My wife and I have been hourly employees and small business owners so we know our economy, struggles, and how it affects all of us. We do not make six digit incomes, we do not live opulent life styles, and we are the family next door, we are of the people.
Why am I running for President? Simply this,
Our Nation is under erosion at exponential rates, the systematic deconstruction of the U.S. Constitution, by the U.S. Supreme Court. Our Rights and Freedoms chipped away at daily.
Our economic and financial stability is in peril. Our presence, and respect among nations on The World Stage, has diminished.
Although I am not out to change the world, I am out to rebuild a Nation from the ground up, and with your support, we will do just that together as our new nation rises. We will face fierce forces as we have before but as a Nation, we have prevailed and will again.
What am I going to do,
simply start over! Tear up the old foundation and pour a new one. A New Dawn, this is a broken system that can't be fixed. You cannot put a Band-Aid on it so,
We are going to use unconventional methods in untested ways. What has been done in the past has not worked, and every time they try, it fails miserably. This is not about shovel ready, or change. It is not about yes we can. None of that has worked Solution start over.
When the foundation has cured, we can begin to construct a Nation that will stand the test of time. Instead of hollow cinder blocks, we build with what does work Solid Bricks, Building one wall at a time.

Adherence to the language of the U S constitution as it was written and not interpreted as it has been in recent years:
Veteran's affairs
Military affairs and defense spending.
Senior affairs- social security and retirement stability.
Poverty, and the construction of a welfare system that does work, with state not government oversight placing a strong emphasis on fraud .
Employment, trade, and the termination of all toxic trade agreements currently in place and those awaiting passage into law.
Border management and construction of a new system of stringent enforcement of all types of illegal immigration at all levels, embodying aggressive apprehension, swift prosecution, and severe sentencing penalties. Sending a direct and clear message as Deportation hasn't worked.
Foreign policy, promoting an aggressive portrait of a self-sustaining nation, and the reduction of ineffective and failed efforts in Global Aid.
Our Second Amendment rights, construction, implementation, and swift passage of a national carry permit.
United States Sovereignty, the separation of Government in State affairs, to include sizing up our relationship with the United Nations.
Term limits, salary and retirement reform for all political and appointed offices including executive positions.
Ending lobbying and all political action committees.
Domestic oil and energy exploration, production and sustainability to include extensive technology in alternatives for new and renewable energy sources.
Advancing technology taking our nation into the future.
Returning our exploration of space and aeronautics NASA.
Taxes, and ending our contractual agreement utilizing the I.R.S. as our collection agency. Construction of a taxation system, utilizing language contained in both Fair tax and Flat tax options
Health Care and repealing Obama Care, constructing a health care system to be benchmarked globally.
Construction of a failed education system, ending the present common core system and returning it to the state level.
Tort reform on all levels of Health care and insurance.
The deconstruction the patriot act, by removing the contents language and construction that invades the ones it is supposed to be protecting and placing effective checks and balances in place.
ISIS, IRAN, and Terrorism, and a new set of rules of engagement. Evaluating the long standing use and partnership involving the Geneva Convention for sustainability to effectively operate in combat and intelligence gathering.
Middle East affairs, possession, and acquisition of nuclear materials.
What makes me qualified to be President;
I'm 52 years old, A natural born citizen, and have a strong understanding of what must be done. I don't offer answers, I give solutions and an action plan.

Daniel Paul Zutler;
Announces his withdrawal from the 2016 Presidential Election, this election process in 2016 combined with the rhetoric, behavior and social graces of the current candidates makes being trusted by," The People" harder and harder by the day. The ineptitude and deceptive practices of certain candidates and hopefuls in conjunction with not only the ruling two party system, as well as the stigmatism and bias of running as a third party independent candidate have dramatically reduced the ability for running a successful campaign.
It has become evidentially apparent even the candidates and hopefuls themselves will not remain constant and true to anything, up to and including party affiliation when threatened, that being the case and God help us all. What will they do when the country they are sworn and elected to protect actually have to step up and act. When a credible threat does exist.
They incessantly and constantly project and exhibit indecisiveness and fickle attitudes of fairness and what is or is not fair practices. Claims are tossed around of what will be accomplished by each candidate when elected, by feeding off of current crisis's and creating a climatic snowball of fear, with total disregard to the entire political process of government, tossing aside and dismissing Congress and Senate as insignificant and utilizing executive orders to accomplish each person stated intentions , instead of address the problems that exist in Congress and Senate and how to address them.
What has happened is, the current candidates have resonated discourse and distain for the entire political process leaving noting but distrust and disgust with a majority of the Nations Voters.
In closing, I am not endorsing any one of the current hopefuls from either party the choice is in the hands of this nation's people. We will be exploring all future options politically. It does appear that the Zutler/Michaels still remained as registered write-ins in Kentucky, where they received zero votes on Election Day.
Michaels seems to have been an enthusiastic Trump supporter in 2016 and 2020. Meanwhile, Zutler apparently made a couple attempts to run in the Republican primaries for Governor of Florida but his campaigns did not find any traction.
