Seven the Dog, an Australian Shepherd from Oxnard, Calif. filed for US President with the FEC under the banner of the Puppy Party on Mar. 31, 2016.
A press release late in the electioneering presented some background--
SEVEN THE DOG FOR PRESIDENT
October 12, 2016, Oxnard, CA - Seven the Dog to the rescue! While Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump continue to do their their best to totally discredit each other, one candidate is staying above the fray. His name is Seven the Dog and he is the official 2016 Presidential Candidate for The Puppy Party.
His platform: A dog for every family and a bone for every dog! He's encouraging people to rescue dogs from the pound and calling on all dogs not to chew on the furniture (or shoes, humans hate having their shoes ruined).
The strong silent type, Seven does bark orders when necessary. He is currently putting together his cabinet. When elected, Seven is going to build a wall to keep all the cats out. He is going to have the cats pay for it!
Seven decided to throw his hat into the race after getting encouragement from his doggie friends who are worried about their human's visceral reaction to political attack ads on TV along with the negative news stories, debates and messages from each candidate.
Seven is a professional actor and model plus a therapy dog that visits children in the hospital. He is available for interview.

A Facebook post on June 9, 2016 indicated late night TV talk show host Jimmy Kimmel might be the running-mate--

But on June 15, 2016 the Seven for President Facebook ran this entry, taking the ticket a different direction--

I'd say YES!!!
Apparently Thor was also a California resident which would have posed a Constitutional problem in the event of a Seven the Dog/Thor victory although the canine status no doubt would have proved more legally daunting.
Seven the Dog ran again in 2020 for President but I could not identify any running-mate in that one.
