The campaign (2016):
Taylor Swift had been run as a candidate for national office in 2012 as a member of the Celebrity Party with Ellen DeGeneres serving as VP in a mock campaign managed by a Youtuber. But in 2016 the stakes would go up a notch in terms of electioneering energy.
In 2012 Swift was already a mega-star in the music world and was known as a philanthropist and contributor to progressive causes. I have to admit that I, in my muddy logging country old guy bubble was unaware of her (she's younger than my own daughter) until a few years ago when a local person purchased a hot pink pickup truck here in emulation of Swift. A truck like that is hard to ignore up here in Mayberry.
On Sept. 26, 2015 Roland Jackson, apparently from Washington, D.C., filed Taylor Swift for Vice-President via fax with the FEC with an "unknown" party designation. Accompanying material revealed Jackson himself was the Presidential candidate, but it seems he did not file as such on a separate FEC form. Jackson, aka Roland Jackson Ejenavi, appears to have come to the United States from Nigeria after having lived in Spain.
An aspiring filmmaker, Jackson has a movie credit for Earth and Space Peace, Moona History: Part 1 (2010) as director, actor, etc., which is about the same time we see the first documented evidence of his fascination with Taylor Swift.
Jackson's platform was fairly liberal and with an ambitious goal: "My two top priorities if I am been elected as a democratic elect president are 1 - I will eliminates poverty in the first 35 days of been sworn into office with 30 millions negociated vacancies of international humanitaria jobs, doctors, administrators, carpenters, young school leaver, etc, 2-A sponsor home for ever American of the 21century I have fund in their international security fund note."
The Presidential candidate's difficulty with the English language presented a considerable communication barrier in terms of comprehending some of his policy positions. An example--

If Swift had a response to being the running-mate on this ticket I did not find it.
The campaign (2020):
Using social media, Jackson touted his campaign a second time and once again named Taylor Swift as his VP.
In 2017 Jackson's publicity machine claimed Swift had a role in his upcoming film, You ("Taylor Swift And Roland Jackson In The Most Fantastic Action, Release December 2017, Title ``YOU´´ Movie. Star the legend story and entertains Generations..") Stills from the alleged movie include scenes where Swift's head had been crudely superimposed on the body of another character.
In between the 2016 and 2020 elections Swift began to be more active in providing political endorsements for candidates. 2020 saw her public support for the Biden/Harris ticket.
She was also a high profile critic of Trump.

No doubt there would have been some serious problems in the event of a Jackson/Swift victory. The Presidential candidate's country of birth and citizenship appear to be outside the parameters of the requirements in the Constitution. And the Vice-Presidential candidate was, in 2016 and 2020, below the mandated age of 35.
