Darryl Cummings, a writer in West Haven, Conn. ran for President with stand-up comedian John Romanoff, also of West Haven, as his Vice-President.
The Cummings/Romanoff ticket were registered as write-in candidates in the Nutmeg State and received 5 votes. If they had won the election the fact they were residents of the same state might have proved problematic as far as the Constitution was concerned.
