Roger Alan Hoover of New Port Richey, Fla. filed with the FEC for US President under the banner of the American Peoples Party on Oct. 31, 2016. Since he did not indicate on his form if he was running for the 2016 or 2020 election, the FEC defaulted to 2016.

Maybe all of us should apologize, except Lady Bird Johnson RMK-BMJ sold to Haliburton in time for the Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan killing. General Eisenhower, we need your spirit now. I know John McCain is a lowly Ensign like 41 but I am promoting him to a 7 star General like myself and I guarantee upon my life, the mistakes of the past will not be repeated.

Hoover also claimed the late President Herbert Hoover was his uncle or great-uncle. One problem here is that the former President had one brother who was the father of daughters, not sons, meaning no one with the Hoover surname could be a nephew or great nephew of Herbert Hoover.

It would seem Hoover began his quest for the Presidency around June, 2016, if his Facebook entries are an indicator. It is difficult to ascertain how many of his statements were made as a form of jest. Hoover expressed a desire to have the following people as his running-mate: Bernie Sanders, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Mark Cuban, and Mark Zuckerberg. He also offered to be the running-mate for Sanders, Cuban and Hillary Clinton.

I would be willing to leave Roe v. Wade in exchange for a national sterilization bill. All 12 year old girls would be sterilized unless they could prove they possess the Intelligence and compassion to become a mother. For the few that slip through the system, there's still the abortion option. I am a member of NRA. I support the 2nd. I am also an ordained minister running for nomination with Mark Cuban, I believe if we are elected, have all the guns you like. 2016 was not kind to Jeb Bush, one of Hoover's desired running-mates. The son and sibling of Presidents, he was considered the dynastic front runner and strongest contender early in the primary season. Like many other establishment Republicans, he was steamrolled by an aggrieved wave of Right wing populism. Bush dropped out of the race on Feb. 20, 2016 and endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz. Of Trump, Bush famously predicted, "Donald Trump would be a chaos president. He would not be the commander in chief we need to keep our country safe."  Later he told the press he did not vote for either Clinton or Trump.

In the event of a Hoover/Bush victory the Constitutional problem of both candidates being residents of the same state might have been bypassed since it appeared Hoover was also resident of Tennessee.

Hoover did not appear on any ballots nor was he registered as a write-in in any state. In a Nov. 6, 2016 Youtube presentation he expressed a hope that Clinton and Trump would deadlock and as a result Congress would turn to Roger Hoover as the compromise choice.

In the comment section regarding a running-mate, Farrenholz wrote, "I am hoping for Kasich."

Now, I will grant you that this is a very tenuous factoid on which to base a third party Vice Presidential profile, but there it is.

In 2016 Gov. John Kasich of Ohio was one of many Republicans seeking the Party's nomination for President. At the time Farrenholz expressed a desire to have the Governor as VP, Kasich had already dropped out of contention as the Republican nominee.

Although painted by the media as a moderate, Kasich actually had a very traditional conservative record. In previous elections he would have been portrayed as a far Right candidate, but compared to the other hopefuls in 2016 he came across as almost centrist. The New York Times said he was "the only plausible choice for Republicans tired of the extremism and inexperience on display in this race." Others called him "the adult in the Republican playpen" and "the only grown up on the debate stage." However, the same was said about Romney in 2012 and that didn't turn out so well for the Republicans. The Party was choosing a more visceral path in 2016.

A career politician, Kasich placed second in the New Hampshire primary and won his home state primary in March before dropping out. Horrified by what he saw as Trump's unprofessionalism, chronic lying, racism, disrespect for women, and willingness to engage in toxic demagoguery, Kasich became one of the more prominent Republicans willing to criticize the Party's nominee. As a result he was subsequently cast into the political wilderness like many other mainstream Republicans who refused to engage in a case of situational ethics (e.g. Lindsey Graham) that would make even Machiavelli raise his eyebrows.

A Farrenholz/Kasich victory would have potentially run into the Constitutional snag of both candidates being residents of the same state.

My name is Deshon Porter I am 41 from Springfield MO I am married to a wonderful woman Donnell Porter. I am running for president  in 2016.  I am GOP  and Springfield tea party member. I stand for Israel  we should help them. and the right of the poor  middle class disabled persons college students veterans.  I am for a balance budget   but not on the backs of the poor or the disabled. The way to do it is with less aid meaning money to other countries, just give them military  aid and supplies but no money we need the money here. stop bailing out banks and help out the people. A veterans now bill to help new members and veterans not after they come from training or war but when they say yes to serve our great country, when they serve so do their families serve as well. Colleges need to stop raising the price to go to school making it harder to get a degree. I want to say yes this country is a christian nation!  I am pro life pro a real marriage between a man and a woman. I have more to say in the next coming weeks

As a careing American Christian I will stand for Isreail , college students will be able to get a degree people who serve our great country will not wait to get the help they need to help their families. Standing for real marriage between a man and a woman! People who are disabled will not be forced to get a low or almost no paying job we deserve the same chance to work at a better paying job. Kim Davis  who didn't give marrage to same sex couple due to her christian belief's and now DR. Ben Carlson! Just because he said that Muslims shouldn't be president now they want to silence him to? I thought that I was going to run for president in 2016 instead I dropped out angry with the Supreme Court in June deciding to side with same sex marriage . that same day as the ruling I got so angry that I quit and announced on my radio show. But I Still wanted to run for office and make a difference in the state of  Missouri. So I found out that I am of age and can run for Congress. The 7 district where me and my princess wife  live in is held by congressmen Billy Long. I hope to win his seat it is time for a outsider to represent our district our rights and freedoms. Yes I have no experience in office but I am a citizen of this country and I care I watch the news pray and I want to do something about what our district is going through.  Slogan serving God first then country.Here is the new campaign website.

In Nov. 2015 Porter endorsed Dr. Carson for President. In Feb. 2016 he backed Sen. Cruz.

On May 29, 2016, Porter offered this reflection--

I wish I could have stayed in the 2016  race ! Would have gave voters another choice on the ballot. We are forced to choose between Trump for the Republican side and maybe Hillary Clinton?  Come on Bernie Sanders!  I wanted Ted Cruz to stay in for he is a Christian! We don't have the lesser of two evils at all. What would it be like if I was elected President? For starters there will be no plan parenthood ever, no more killing of innocent babies. No doctors would be allowed to do that at all. Second I would do is choose a new head of the VA to help our veterans get better treatment here in our own country to let veterans go to any hospital for care. To help them to stay in there homes and not be put on the streets. We must end homelessness and poverty. People who have disability shouldn't have less money forced to fend for themselves they must have a cost of living increase. Just like our seniors have to choose between food and medicine they should have more money as well. We need a better trained military not weakening. How by cutting the raises of Congress and the Senate. The IRS is gone there will be a simple tax return  all college loans will be forgiven  for the department. Education will be closed there will be another opportunity for aid for college one way is to make college free if not a four year college at least a two year college and make scholarship easy to get for deserving students don't make them jump hoops. Schools will be given back to state and local government only ,  Homeschool with be a right! Health care  Obama care is a thing. of the past   there will be Porter care my wife Teri Donnell Porter who will be a wonderful first lady  will be in charge of  the Porter care team that will  bring our healthcare system back into shape. Pre existing condition will still qualify for Porter care. NASA will be back in full capacity but not sending people to Mars there is no way to come back or  people will die along the way. Let's send them to planets other than the moon that is close to earth. We will stand by Israel and help our Jewish friends for if we do we will be blessed if not we will be cursed. No more inaugural events in cold weather it should be done  in the spring time. When the weather is nicer. War should only come to another country under Congress vote not till then we send troops into harms way for our freedoms.

In a Youtube presentation June 18, 2016, Porter sort of re-entered the race when he said he was open to having delegates in the Republican, Democratic, and Green parties cast their votes for him at their conventions. He also stated he was running for President in 2020.

In the general election of 2016 he voted for Jill Stein of the Green Party. Porter also announced shortly before the election he would be running for the City Council of Springfield, Mo.

Running-mate Stowe's Facebook indicated support for the Electoral College, a celebration of gun culture and fishing, and defending what he described as the "Confederate battle flag." Stowe lived in Maysville, Ark. and backed Trump in 2016.

The campaign:

Billy "Future Race Conscious White Mister President" Roper of Russellville, Ark. founded the group White Revolution in 2002 after being purged from the neo-Nazi National Alliance. The vision of leading a unified racist effort fizzled and White Revolution was dismantled in 2011. Meanwhile, Roper had started another entity, the Nationalist Party of America and had run for Governor of Arkansas under that banner in 2010. He had also shifted to the Christian Identity movement as well as the KKK via Thomas Robb's Knights Party.

Roper ran for President for the 2012 election. The NPA platform included the following. Of particular interest is the section on military service--

--Abolition of the Internal Revenue Service, the Income Tax, and all Property Taxes. We support the creation of a national sales tax of 23% to fund the federal government.
--A 10-year moratorium on all legal immigration at a level below 250,000 per year.
--A 2000-mile double-line electric fence and barricade wall between the United States and Mexico, delineating a patrolled frontier zone occupied by U.S. military forces.
--A federally legislated end to all social welfare benefits for illegal aliens, except for emergency medical services.
--A crackdown on major businesses that chronically hire illegal aliens and the elimination of deductibility for all wages paid to illegals.
--A federal law to restate the true meaning of the 14th Amendment through inclusion of a clause limiting natural born citizenship to the children of legal U.S. citizens.
--A policy allowing legal immigrants to bring in only spouses and minor dependent children to the United States.

--Military
No male can enlist in any combat or combat-related duty in the armed forces of the United States unless he has a son to carry on his name. Further, no females can enlist in the armed forces but as nurses, doctors, or other non-combat related roles. Homosexuals and non-citizens will be prohibited from serving in the military. The Home Guard, similar in duty to the National Guard, but not deployable overseas, may include males without male offspring. --Traditional Values
Marriage will be defined as the legal union and partnership of a man and a woman. Domestic partnerships between homosexuals will not be recognized by law.
--Monetary Policy
The United States dollar will return to the gold standard, rather than existing as fiat currency. The Federal Reserve, currently a private banking and lending institution, will be nationalized and regulated according to our nation's best interests. Unsecured lines of credit, such as credit cards issued by banks, will be legally limited to interest rates not to exceed double the interest rates of secured lines of credit offered by the same institutions. Usury, the practice of charging exorbitant interest rates or fees on monetary loans, will become a criminal offense.
--World Government.
The Nationalist Party opposes United States membership in any organization which in any way infringes on the sovereignty of the United States and its citizens.
--Foreign Trade.
The Nationalist Party is for cutting off all trade, aid and "recognition" of a state which denies its citizens the right to leave and take their property with them.   
--Second Amendment
The Nationalist Party shall strongly support the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. America is one of the few nations on earth with the right to keep and bear arms. That right is largely responsible for our independence and sovereignty. Our enemies envy us our success and would deny it so that we become reduced to their level. We wholeheartedly support 2nd Amendment rights as guaranteed by the United States Constitution and as given to us by Almighty God. We hold this to be an individual's right. No law is legitimate that restricts this right. In keeping with this belief, we will call for repeal of all Federal Gun legislation and nullification of all state laws that are not in accordance with an individual's Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. As a foundation block of the Constitution, it is imperative this freedom remain unhindered so our liberty and independence remain unfettered. The Nationalist Party must actively work to impeach any politician or judge who would deny the Second amendment since he is not upholding his oath "…to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States," and would allow the tyranny of government to prevail. The Second Amendment is the ultimate persuader against a politician or party intent upon domestic mischief or skullduggery.

Needless to say Roper was on the radar of the Southern Poverty Law Center, who gathered together some quotes clarifying Roper's positions--

The whole world is ours, and the only part of the earth that non-Whites should inherit is however much it requires to cover them."

During the course of the campaign Roper had unsuccessfully sought the nomination of the Boston Tea Party.

At some point in 2012 Roper suspended his campaign and endorsed Merlin Miller of the American Third Position.

In Dec. 2015 Roper joined forces with Paul Mullet of Bainbridge, Ohio to form Divine Truth Ministries, where Roper said they would be "carrying forward the ideals and values of Aryan Nations under a new banner." The SPLC quoted the group's mission as-- "to establish a new Republic of the United Aryan States, for our racial brothers and sisters in the current Mongrelized United States of America," and "(To deprogram) [sic] and reinstall our Racial culture, heritage, pride and destiny of our White Race."

Around that same time, Roper shared his view of the Trump campaign in an interview with The Saturnalian--

My views on Donald Trump’s campaign are similar to those espoused by Bob Whitaker when he was asked the same question in the Independent Political Report article. To wit, I don’t think that Trump is legitimately any kind of Jacksonian populist as he presents himself to be. It is fascinating that he has transferred celebrity status into political prowess through using the media attention his admittedly masterful hyperbolic statements demand. His appeals to the third of the Republican base at the working class White grassroots is cynical, but effective. What I find most interesting about his campaign is the way that it has forced (not in a vacuum as the simultaneous abdication of the establishment in the Senate leadership) the donor class of the GOP into impotency…and not because of the deep pockets that he’s famous for, but rather by using the way that the old boy network turned over the reins of the party apparatus to superPAC funding. That’s ironic. What coverage he hasn’t been given gratis has been paid for through voluntary small donor funding from his base. I think that, with the last two full cycle elections demonstrating the loss of the electoral majority by Whites in this country, none of us would have anticipated that a national candidate espousing some views as far to the right as his resonate would have gained this much traction. So, despite his obvious insincerity, his campaign has brought to the forefront the immigration debate once again, and given an outlet, steam pressure release valve safety though it might be, to a portion of the electorate which had frankly felt itself becoming disenfranchised. And speaking to that, perhaps the establishment knows that they benefit from keeping the increasingly disgruntled descendants of those who founded this nation to secure the blessings of liberty for them, and not the descendants of Asia or Africa or Mexico or, God forbid, Syria, involved in the electoral process, rather than marginalizing them into accepting the 1775 alternative to the ballot box. One might even say that there is a strong anti-establishment meme from both ends against the middle. I could see some Sanders supporters finding common ground on economic issues with Trump voters, for example. I’m still not sure that Trump will be the Republican nominee. Who else but Donald might make Cruz seem palatable by comparison to the desperate GOP establishment? But his campaign has shifted the dialectic to the right for the portion of the party who had almost despaired, believing that if elections could still change anything, they would have already been made illegal. Depending on whether one believes that multiracial democracy can fly or that it must fall, that is either a glimmer of hope, or the greatest of disservices. We’ll see next year, I reckon.

In July 2016, Roper revealed a secret about his past--

I have a confession to make. When I was an undergrad, I was in College Republicans. I even sunk so low as to work on Mike Huckabee’s first failed Senatorial campaign, in 1992. Ah, youthful hope and enthusiasm. You see, back then I was still naively optimistic about the potential of saving America from breakup, through, gasp, Conservatism. Blame it on Ronald Reagan, who shook my hand when I was twelve and put silly thoughts in my head. Thoughts like “Constitution” and “Freedom”. Don’t worry, I feel a lot better, now. I know that the breakup is inevitable, and so I can more calmly sit back and enjoy the show.

At the start of 2016 Roper's name was listed as the VP for Bruce Kenneway of Maine, a former fellow activist with the Nationalist Party of America. It isn't clear if Roper's permission was obtained, since he didn't really appear to be involved in the electioneering. Kenneway's campaign webpage included a platform--

trump is a better choice for President than clinton.BJK. Mr. Donald is being more fact-full/authentic than Ms. Hillary is.

What actions I will take when President

1.) kosher food/goods tax will be sued in federal courts and all state courts. genetic-jews fund their religion Judaism and synogogues by violating federal anti-trust law thru embezzlement. rabbi goes to company blesses candy,soda,milk,bread,hard goods (plastic food wraps) etc;then manufacturer is required to send check to nearest rabbinical center,the company then passes this added cost onto us the consumers with higher food+goods prices at cash register.the genetic-jews then use the money to also fund PAC's which pay-off politicians to vote in favor of the genetic-jews deleterious to the majority of us social programs.we who worship other than Judaism must pull cash money from deep within our jeans pockets to fund our church whichs called tithing whichs HONEST.used to be in stores all kosher food+goods were kept in certain areas so we could avoid those products and not fund someone elses religion and the corruption of our politicians; and pay lower prices at the cash register.

The campaign:

"Stephen John McCarthy, Irish Catholic" of Fairborn, Ohio registered for US President with the FEC on Dec. 23, 2015 as a "(Republican) (Independent)." At the top of the form he noted, "I am a little bit handicapped. I can only see out of one eye." Under the form line for name of campaign committee McCarthy wrote, "I am a American citizen I vote and pay taxes." He included the fact he was age 61 and single in the portion where his address was required.

McCarthy, who worked as a custodian for an auto dealer, did run in the Republican Presidential primary in New Hampshire and received at least a dozen votes.

His platform was a conservative one. He was quoted by the press, "I’m exactly like Ronald Reagan would be if he was here. I’m conservative. I don’t believe in big government and all the (expletive) that’s going on."

McCarthy opposed Obamacare and Gay marriage. He supported the idea of legally requiring a balanced budget. He wanted to amend the entire US Constitution and added "God is the real founder" of the document.

Although McCarthy's running-mate Joyce Meyer could be the same as the well known evangelist (it wouldn't be the first time a celebrity was appointed VP without permission) the name is common enough for me to hesitate assigning any particular individual to his Vice-Presidential selection until more information is provided.

McCarthy/Meyer were registered as write-ins in Maryland and Minnesota. All of their votes came from the former state.

A Tronald Dump filed with the FEC as a Republican for President on Sept. 9, 2015 under the auspices of the Tronald Dump for Dictator committee. As it turns out, the popularity of the play on Trump's name was widespread and even became slang for a fetish sexual practice involving human waste. Also, it closely parallels the original Trump surname a few generations earlier-- Drumpf.

A small army of Facebook accounts under the name Tronald Dump suddenly sprang up around 2015. One of them ran something of a Presidential campaign for 2016, and supplied a Vice-Presidential candidate as well in the form of Cheez It, a tasty snack cracker that was the same hue as Trump's garish orangish makeup powder.

Should I switch running mates? Cheezits would help make America GRATE again but Dead Harambe may be a better choice.

In spite of those second thoughts expressed by the Dump campaign, I found no evidence that Dead Harambe officially replaced Cheez It as the VP nominee.

The campaign:

Robert Morrow's strange political journey began as a liberal Democrat supporting Dukakis in 1988 and somehow morphed into his becoming a conspiracy theorist Republican who co-authored a book with Nixon loyalist Roger Stone entitled The Clintons' War on Women (2015). When Morrow was elected as the Chair of the Travis County, Tex. Republican Party, based in Austin, there was an intra-party revolt. He served for a few months in 2016, at which point he ran for President as an Independent write-in. His running-mate was a fellow he called his "handyman," Todd Sanders.

Morrow was a self-styled expert on the JFK assassination, placing the blame on LBJ and other government figures. He also seemed obsessed with the sex lives of political figures, notably the Clintons, Rick Perry, George H.W. Bush, and Donald Trump. In a humorous way, Morrow was very much like the last named gentleman in terms of promoting spurious facts and unfounded conspiracies. Both men also were infamous for disrespecting women in blatant ways and they used the negative campaigning tactic of dehumanizing all who failed to see the issues from their perspective. And since Morrow's publicity gimmick was wearing his three-corner jester hat, that sort of compares to Trump's overdone orange cosmetics, oddball hairstyle, and clownishly oversize necktie. From the viewpoint of an outsider in some ways it is difficult to see why the Travis County Republicans would reject the former person but embrace the latter-- a point Morrow himself would make in 2016.

Morrow's social media was riddled with pornographic language and visuals, and that might have been what turned the dial to 11 where Trump was still at 10.

Early in the campaign season Morrow endorsed Ted Cruz, "Ted Cruz and Ben Carson over Donald Trump. Donald Trump has actually said that a lone nut Oswald killed JFK, which tells me he is too stupid to be president." However, in early May 2016 Trump alleged, without evidence or detail as he usually did with his many conspiracy theories, that Sen. Cruz's father was somehow implicated in assisting Lee Oswald in Nov. 1963.

Part of Morrow's electioneering included showing up at public events wearing his jester hat and holding a huge sign that read, TRUMP is a CHILD RAPIST. Morrow explained, "Donald Trump's psychopathy has been on full display on the national political stage for over a year ... I want folks to know that Trump is a child rapist and that he is currently being sued in a civil action in NY federal courts for raping, slapping [a] 13 year old girl at a Jeffrey Epstein party in 1994."

The Morrow/Sanders ticket were registered as write-ins in Texas only. If they had won the national election the fact they were residents of the same state had the potential to be problematic per the Constitution. Morrow ran again in 2020 as a write-in with Anne Beckett as his VP.

The campaign:

Shawna Sterling of Brooksville, Ky. filed with the FEC as a Republican on June 6, 2015. On June 16 the name of the campaign committee was changed from "Shawna Sterling 2016" to "Shawna Sterling 2016 Pro Life Pro America It's Time to Take Care of America." On June 23 the candidate had a name change, "Pastor Shawna Sterling," and a political designation alteration from Republican to Independent, and a committee name change to "Pastor Shawna Sterling 2016 Pro Life Pro America It's Time to Take Care of America." Things settled down for a few months then on Jan. 1, 2016 the political allegiance changed to Libertarian and the committee was simply "Pro Life Pro America." The FEC didn't like the committee name so it was changed to "Pro America Sterling 4 President" on Feb. 9. Finally, on July 6, 2016 Sterling switched back to Independent and listed Jack Robinson of Spartanburg, S.C. as a running-mate. Whew!

Meanwhile, Jack B. Robinson had filed with the FEC for President as an Independent on Aug. 28, 2015. On Nov. 12, 2015 he switched his party identification to Libertarian.

Sterling was no stranger to running for office. In 2014 she was defeated by Mitch McConnell in the Republican primary for the US Senate. Her campaign website at that time promoted the concept of secret numerological messages she had decoded from a few movie trailers that predicted dire events such as 9/11 or Sandy Hook. She also included a video by discredited conspiracy-for-profit merchant Alex Jones. Interestingly, in 2012 she had briefly switched to the Democratic Party and worked for Obama's re-election.

When Sterling was running for the Libertarian nomination her platform had a few deviations from the standard Party line--

I am pro-life. All Persons at any stage in their life, have the right to life.
I support the legalization of same sex marriage. Persons cannot be forced to perform a marriage.
Federal government should not fund Planned Parenthood, only programs required by the U.S. Constitution.

Oddly, the California primary was held after the Libertarian Party convention, so Robinson's 8th out of 12 finish with 0.03% was merely a popularity contest.

Both Sterling and Robinson failed to gain much traction in their quest for the Libertarian nomination. At some point they joined forces and continued the campaign to the general election on their own ticket. Sterling had been one of the speakers with Robinson at a Birth Loop conference in May 2016.

Sterling/Robinson were registered as write-ins in 5 states (listing themselves as Libertarians in most of them) and received a single reported vote in Kansas.
