Ken McCarthy and Frank Beifus, both apparently residents of Deltona, Fla., filed as write-in candidates for President and Vice-President in the State of Florida.
The campaign was another one off the radar of the media. In the event of a McCarthy/Beifus victory there would have been a problem with the Constitution since they appeared to be residents of the same state. As it was they earned six popular votes.
