Scott Allen Meek, recently transplanted from New York to California, filed for President with the FEC in Nov. 2015, although he had expressed his intention to run much earlier. Also known as Scott Allen Meek Stephens, he had run as an Independent in 2012 as well.

I am not a proud American!
I could do so much more if I was elected president in 2016. I have no political ties, no funding whatsoever and am homeless. I am a struggling artist and activist who has lived the life of a poor man for the last several years running my presidential campaign for industrial hemp. Meek's campaign website reads a bit like a stream of consciousness narrative, but the reader quickly perceives Meek's main issue is to "repeal the laws based around Industrial Hemp and Medical Marijuana." He contended that legalizing these substances would have a positive ripple effect in the economic and medical spheres.

In the course of the 2016 campaign, Meek, who was also known as Scott Stephens, made the news as an initially accidental nemesis of Donald Trump. Meek was apparently in the business of buying and selling domain names. In 2004 he purchased the "TrumpEstates" name, which eventually produced a cease and desist letter from Trump's legal people as the alleged billionaire's political aspirations expanded. Meek eventually lost the case and had to surrender the name for nothing. Meek would go on to say most media accounts of his demands were fabricated, and as he himself explained in Feb. 25, 2020 Facebook entry as he looked back five years--
As you can see I was the one who leaked the first announcement of trumps candidacy for president. Also this proves that trump stole my slogan make America great again and Trump definitely stole my domain name. Why would I like him. Share this post

So, after yrs of owning www.TrumpEstates.com I got a Cease and Decist Demand from The Trump Orgaization. I called their laryers today and explained I spoke with Michael Cohen about 5 yrs ago and that I would give up the domain name for a handshake from Donald Trump and a dollar. Mr. Cohen said just give us the domain name and we won't sue you!
At which point I said get back to me and I will think about it. Well it has been five plus yrs since this incident happened while I was sitting in the owners office of Manhattan Motor Cars.
So after my explaining to this new lawyer today five yrs later, i said i would like to get some sort of compensation out of it after registering it for the past several yrs and not selling it to a foreign corporation. he said, we will give you $30.00 for it.. I then interrupted and said, you know I got these domain names to raise funds for my non profit the council for native american indian progress inc. At which point he raised his offer to $300.00 and an autograph signed book from Trump and I could through in another domain name I own www.420Frosty.com at which point I said let me get back to you later.
I immediately called a couple attorney friends and one of them has a friend at the New York Post, well they called about 20 minutes later and they thought it was a good enough story to run by the editor and that they're very interested in my story.
Also big news, from the conversation I had with this attorney Alan Garten who works for the Trump Organization, it looks like Donald Trump is going to run for president!!!

Sadly, before the Meek/Radel ticket could really gain steam, the latter died of a heart attack before the month was over, on Mar. 24, 2015. It does not appear the VP position was filled for the rest of the campaign.
Meek did not appear on any ballots nor does it seem he was a registered write-in in any state. He also ran for President in 2020.
