Christopher Michael Tarter, September 17, 1981 -
VP candidate for Independent (2016, 2020)
Running mate with nominee (2016, 2020): William Froeber (b. 1982)
Popular vote (2016, 2020): ? (0.00%)
Electoral vote (2016, 2020): 0/538
The campaign (2016):
Will Froeber of Pensacola, Fla. filed as an Independent for President with the FEC on Apr. 13, 2015. The name of his campaign committee was FroeberTarterFTW2016. The "Tarter" part of that moniker was for his running-mate, Christopher Tarter. The "FTW" could mean either "For the win," "Frober/Tarter Write-in," or "F**k the world" I suppose.
On the same day he filed, Froeber announced on Facebook--
Ladies & Gentlemen,
I would like to officially announce my candidacy for President of the United States of America in the 2016 elections.
I promise nothing but to piss off Fox News even more than Obama does.
Let's give Washington a bit of #FroebStyle
#FroeberTarterFTW2016
Waging a social media campaign, the candidates set up an electioneering Facebook page to make their positions sporadically known--
April 17, 2015
We need someone who has been to the bottom and climbed back up, then fell, then climbed up again.
I promise I will bring change to this country, in the way only someone who has lived through it can
Or I'll get impeached trying.
Christopher Tarter reply: It's time the working class had a true mouthpiece in the government. No longer will the rich and entitled speak for the masses. We, the hard-working, tax-paying, American people need adequate and fair representation.
Who better understands the needs of the people than someone who lives a similar life?
We are the right choice for America.

I will create a new national holiday, "No Pants Day".
Last Saturday of every month, no one leaves the house unless it's for donuts & coffee.
You can thank Madame Secretary for the idea.

TARTER-
"We can't possibly be the worst choice."
Froeber/Tarter's campaign seemed to run out of steam as the others were heating up. They did not appear to be registered as write-ins in any state. In the event of their victory there would have been two potential Constitutional problems. First, they were residents of the same state, and second, the standard bearer was under the age of 35.
The campaign (2020):
On Nov. 9, 2016, the day after Election Day, the actor Ron Perlman declared he was running for President and Tarter expressed support for that idea. But by Apr. 11, 2017, the old 2016 Froeber/Tarter Facebook campaign site had this entry--
TARTER-
Ok, how do we update this to FroeberTarterFTW2020?
Because sweet zombie jebus on a pogo stick... there is absolutely no humanly possible way we could do any worse.
As far as I can ascertain, their 2020 effort was even more under the radar than in 2016.

Notes:
Will Froeber on Facebook, Mar. 24, 2013: "No one talks about it, but if a terrorist group wanted to f**k us up, just throw a virus into the country that makes us turn on each other, we're at the boiling point anyway. That would be how America falls."
