Maty Schaefer

                                                                                  Schaefer

Maty Schaefer

VP candidate for Independent (2012)

Running mate with nominee: Jeff Allan Huettl (b. 1975)
Popular vote: ? (0.00%)
Electoral vote: 0/538

The campaign:

Jeff Huettl in the Stockbridge, Wis. area had something of a spontaneous campaign for President via Facebook as the 2012 election season heated up--

Aug. 11, 2012
So Romney has chosen Paul Ryan as his running mate... Well this really helps make my choice clearer in November... I can now choose between a hypocritical socialist pig with a brilliant young running mate which will leave a huge irreplaceable hole in the House Budget Committee, or the incumbent socialist pig with a drooling potty mouth idiot for a running mate.  Hmm... yep, looks like I'm still gonna be writing myself in.  Wish me luck!

He filled in the blanks in the comment section--

Alright, now that it appears I have some support, I should probably share some of my views and objectives, I will start by answering some typically asked questions....
Q: I am poor, what are you going to do for me?
A: Nothing! Get out and get a job and provide for yourself. It's not the federal governments job to "provide" for anyone.
Q: Am I going to get my Social Security when I retire?
A: Nope, well... Not unless you are retiring in my first month of office. See to me the Social Security act of 1935 was an unconstitutional law. It is not the federal governments job to control your retirement age or retirement funds... It's yours! After I am president, every person that has put any money into SSI, will get their money back out in one un-taxable lump sum... If you have paid in $7,800, you will get $7,800, if you paid in $78,000, you will get $78,000. I recommend investing this money for your future, but it's your money... do as you wish with it. Your retirement will now be your responsibility and thanks to the likes of LBJ and Bill Clinton, SSI has became an unfunded liability, since we're unfunding it, we should 'unfund' it back to the people that paid into it.
Q: Our economy has stalled, people don't have money to spend, how do you plan on boosting economic growth?
A: See answer above.
Q: How do you plan on helping out poor nations?
A: I don't! If you are unaware, our nation is over $16 Trillion in debt and rising! Not one damn penny will go into a foreign country until our debt is paid off.
Q: Won't this make foreign countries upset?
A: Don't care. Policies set in place such as The Camp David Accord is ridiculous! I don't care if Egypt and Israel hate each other and I sure the hell am not going to allow our debt stricken country continue to pay them Billions of dollars each year for them to be pretend friends with each other.
Q: How do you feel about gay marriage?
A: What the hell does this have to do with politics, especially at the Federal level? I wish ALL people happiness and joy. If your state and church allow gay marriage, enjoy your wedding day!
Q: How do feel about abortion?
A: Again... What the hell does this have to do with politics? On a personal level I am opposed to abortion, but abortion is an issue that is best left to every individual person to decide. If you need help deciding what to do, seek guidance from family or a church... Not the Government!
Thanks for taking the time to read a couple of my thoughts, obviously I am not a presidential contender, but some day maybe we will have a real person for a candidate. Maybe we will have someone that will be a president for the people of this great Country and not for the filthy lobbyists that fund campaigns. Ever notice that it doesn't matter what side your on... Republican, Democrat, all of these presidents and congressmen talk their game, but they all do the same damn thing! The U.S. Hasn't been debt free since the Andrew Jackson administration back in 1836 and EVERY SINGLE PRESIDENT SINCE HAS PROMISED TO LOWER THE DEBT AND THEY DID JUST THE OPPOSITE!

Jeff Huettl
Not sure if Ron Paul is still gonna be in it in November. I'm certainly a supporter of his, but American media has shunned him away. I know he's still campaigning, he was in Florida this weekend, but he hasn't had a money bomb in months and I think his funds are running out. Even if he does drop out, I may still write him in, or I may vote for Gary Johnson, I may actually even write myself in, hard to say right now, but I can guarantee that I will not vote for any of the socialist idiots that the media has forced upon us.

Jeff Huettl
Technically you are correct. Romney isn't even the actual GOP candidate yet, but you know as well as I do what the media is doing. Turn on the news... All they talk about is Romney vs. Obama. The lobbyist cockroaches that own the media are also the same ones that get presidents elected. Unfortunately our society just follows the lead of the media. If Fox news said to vote for Paris Hilton, the dumb bimbo might actually have a chance of being our next Commander in Chief. Kinda scary, but it's true. Everyone keeps arguing the same crap... I'm a republican, I'm a democrat, I'm better than you, my candidate is cooler than yours, etc.... Everyone needs to stop! They are all arguing the same points they typically already agree with. Todays Democrats and Republicans are Socialists, but our society isn't yet smart enough to change that, instead we keep electing the same damn asshole every 4 years and we argue about how awesome they were or are. Yep, over 100 years of pricks devaluing our currency and running up our debt... definitely some winners in that group!

In what could be considered an example of political transparency, the selection of his friend Maty Schaefer as a running-mate was revealed in this public exchange--

Maty Schaefer
If you have Department of State open.. I'll take it..

Jeff Huettl
Heck Maty, I think you'd be better suited for VP. Never mind your age, the 12th amendment and Article 2, section 1 of the Constitution are just recommendations aren't they? I mean heck, every other president doesn't view much of the Constitution as law, why should I? So if you want in for VP, your my guy.

Maty Schaefer
I'll believe it when the SS shows up and a press release is issued.. 😉

Jeff Huettl
Press release?!?! What could possibly be more authentic than Facebook? Relax man, when we get elected, I'll handle everything... Oh and as far as that whole age thing... yeah, I'm gonna need you to get rid of all copies of your birth certificate, you know, kinda like Obama style. As far as the Secret Service, apparently they're doing their job. You don't see them do you? That's right my friend, they're even serving you, the future VP in secret.

Maty Schaefer
LMFAO..

The Huettl/Schaefer ticket, in event of their victory, would have encountered the potential Constitutional problem of being residents of the same state in addition to the VP being under age 35, according to a comment made by the standard-bearer. As it was, they were not on any ballots or registered as write-ins.

In the next cycle Huettl took it up a notch. Even though I cannot find any mention of a running-mate for the 2016 election, his campaign is worth covering as it serves as a more planned out extension of his 2012 run.

Huettl filed with the FEC on Oct. 20, 2015 as a Non-Party candidate for President. Earlier on Sept. 27 he had posted--

A few days ago I announced my candidacy for the upcoming presidential election.  Most if not all of you I assume view this as an arbitrary act of humor, I can assure you it is not.  I will be writing myself in for president.  I don't expect anyone to actually write me in, but I sincerely hope you consider doing so or at the very least vote outside of the 2 party debacle.  I am in no way a polished politician, I'm far from wealthy and I ask that you please keep your money, I'm not looking for any campaign contributions.  If you have money to spare, spend it on loved ones or give it to someone in need, not ANY fool politician.

My agenda is simple... Restore America by simply returning our country back to the states and the people.  Federal government has grossly overstepped its boundaries ever since its inception.  Our forefathers gave us a beautiful set of laws through the Constitution to regulate government, NOT the people.  However, our forefathers made one huge mistake... They created a document that is worthless if the lawmakers can not be held accountable for disregarding their own laws.  Even our own hero forefathers went against their own constitution, just look at Thomas Jefferson's Louisiana purchase.  I guess our 3rd president didn't need congressional approval for a 15 million  dollar purchase, oh that's right, he called it a 'treaty', how cute.

I'm sick of all of the liars, thieves, murderers, that run for office every four years.  These cockroaches don't have your best interests in mind, none of them do, none of them ever have and they certainly never will.  These are evil subhumans that are only concerned with financial benefit through corporate interests.  So If you think your vote in a 2 party system matters, you're wrong, your favorite president or your favorite 2 party candidate doesn't give a rats behind about you, they never have and they absolutely never will.

So what am I going to do?  Good question.  I see a severe financial problem in our nation which to me results in our biggest burden.  We are trillions in debt and many trillions more of debt exists in unfunded liabilities.  Our federal reserve is ran by the wealthiest banks and our currency is a fiat based currency which is backed by only debt and fear.  It exists because the central banking system says it does and through financial kickbacks your government allows its sustainability.  Your money in your purse and wallet is useless, it holds no intrinsic value, yet it's what backs nearly every nations currency in the world.  Anyone see a problem with this?  First thing that must be done is an audit of the federal reserve, we must find out where our money is and how much debt we actually hold.  Upon completion of the audit the federal reserve must be shut down by any means necessary while simultaneously implementing a new currency standard that is backed by precious metal and is strictly overseen by an appointed committee.

Taxation is and always will be a necessary evil.  However tax code loop holes which allow everyone from individuals to large corporations to get rewarded with government kickbacks is ludicrous.  A flat rate tax system must be implemented for EVERYONE to share the tax burden, not just the middle class.  So yes dirtbag corporate business owner guy, if you make 2 billion dollars and the tax rate is 15%, you will pay 300 million.  Boo hoo, let me guess, you'll never be able to create jobs when you make only 1.7 billion, screw off a-hole.  Speaking of jobs; why do we make so much crap over seas?!?!  Well, to begin just look at all of the American job crippling policies that have been implemented over the years... NAFTA, CAFTA, permanent normal trade relations or PNTR with China, the latest is the Obama administration's brain fart in the TPP agreement, and many other free-trade agreements. These deals destroy American jobs by shifting work overseas to nations which fail to provide worker protections and they pay extremely low wages.  Corporations only care about profit, not people, I know this well, I work for one.  It's time to stop these crippling free trade agreements and promote American jobs for American people to self sustain our nation's own demands.

What about social issues?  It's time for the federal government to stay out of everyone's life.  Actually it's always been that time.  The 9th and 10th amendments are rules established for the government to stay out of your life.  What happened?  Topics such as gay marriage or even straight marriage should never hold any quarter within the framework of governance.  It's time for these issues to be returned to the states and the people.  So don't look at me for disapproval of gay marriage.  If 2 people are in love and want to be married, you have my blessing.  Don't ever look for me or the Federal government to legislate rules preventing or allowing any personal issue.

What about illegal immigration?  Well, we could build a wall like the big hairy rich guy Donald Trump said right.  Lol, what a tool.  Look, America is nothing but people born from immigration and Native American Indians.  I believe anyone that wants to live in this great nation should be able to... Legally.  If we stop sending our jobs overseas, there will be plenty of jobs, if we stop the abuses of eminent domain and reverse much of the antiquities act, we can return much of the 28% of federally owned land back to the people in order to disperse the population over wider areas.  If people want to come to America, they can do it legally, there will be no tax breaks or free housing, they're on their own, much like our ancestors.  As far as the borders, more than 150 countries have active duty soldiers in training facilities around the world; why?  For strategic defense positioning, right?  Maybe I'm just to naive but I'm just not sure how intruding another nations territory defends our own territory.  How about we go back to just simply defending our nation and its borders.  I don't see how more than 80,000 soldiers in just Eastern Asia alone is defending America.  If we worry about our country and our borders, the need to have soldiers around the world becomes silly.  Bring them home to training facilities on American soil near and on our borders.  In order to get by Mr. Trump's wall you will need a ladder, in order to get through 150,000 American soldiers, you need... well, good luck with that.

What about our nations defense?  I am a strong supporter of defending OUR nation.  Spending billions each year on other countries is insane.  Paying nations like Egypt and Israel yearly through the camp David Accord to maintain peace is just incomprehensible.  We have debt and we have our own people to worry about, so sorry world, we can't afford to fight your battles and don't ever bring your battles here, we will end you.  As far as militarizing police forces, I am completely opposed to federal money being spent on intruding people's rights.  The 2nd amendment was written to allow state formed militias to overthrow unjust governments, this right shall exist as it was meant to be.  No police department ever needs armored tanks to pull over a shoplifter in my opinion, but for me this is a state issue, if a state wants to buy tanks, do whatever floats your boat, but don't look toward the federal government for financial assistance, we're broke, remember.  I will always support and honor every right within the Constitution and its Bill of Rights.  A President shouldn't figure out how to get around these rules, they should figure out how to honor them and offer to educate the public to embrace them.  The best defense in my opinion is a nation of armed citizens ready to defend their own territory from ANY abuser.

So why run for president when I know I'll lose?  A vote for someone that doesn't have my best interest in mind is to me a wasted vote.  I can think of no one that my ideology is lined up with more than me.  I know I'm not going to win, heck, I know my only vote will come from me, but I'm okay with this.  I'm at peace knowing that I will not be casting a vote for corruption, thievery, war, poverty, oppression and hate.  I see a nation that I'm so proud to be a part of, yet I'm embarrassed of much of who we have became.  We live in a profound multi dimensional society of ignorance.  We stare at our phones not our spouse.  We build multi million dollar high school sports complex's, yet don't want to pay our high school teachers.  We watch television not our children.  We passionately defend our favorite politician, of which has no care for us.  I can't fix anything by writing myself in, but when I walk away from the voting booth next November, I can rest assured I at least tried.  To me, a vote for Jeff Huettl is a win for us.

On Oct. 25. 2016 he posted--

Only 2 weeks until election time.  I guess since I'm running for President, I should probably say some things.  If your mind is made up and you're voting for either Trump or Clinton, this message isn't for you.  I can't compete with the  media circus, nor do I wish to.  This message isn't for the few Stein or Johnson supporters out there either.  This isn't even for those of you that are still completely undecided.
This message is for those of you that are sick of it, so sick of it that you're planning on skipping vote day, those of you that realize your vote truly doesn't matter in a corrupt political system and those that truly understand both political platforms are on the same team only placating to globalist interests.  I don't have any fancy slogans, as far as I'm concerned America has been great for centuries.  Politicians can't make it great again, it already is great and it has absolutely nothing to do with politicians.  Teachers, firefighters, carpenters, pilots, doctors, nurses, machinists, architects, painters, retail employees, police officers, electricians, restaurant employees,  military personnel, bus drivers, janitors, chemists, servers, post office employees, scientists, masons, assemblers, semi drivers, farmers, factory workers, bar tenders, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and children are just a few examples of what makes our nation great.  NOT any politician!  Our greatness is found within ourselves, it's not a granted gift from a political leader.

The only wasted vote is voting for someone you don't agree with because you feel they are the lesser evil.  If you're not comfortable with either candidate for whatever reason, don't vote for them.  Article II section 1 of the constitution defines the prerequisites to become president... you must be at least 35 years old, must be living in the United States for at least 14 years and you must be a natural born citizen of the United States.  That's it, that's what qualifies nearly anyone to become president.  So if you're unhappy with your illusional choices, don't skip voting day, let your voice be heard.  Proudly write yourself in, write your uncle in, a parent, an influential teacher, good friend, neighbor or even me.  Send a clear message on voting day that you're sick and tired of the games, corruption and lies that are perpetually destroying the good that our own society offers.  Proudly cast your vote for a winner that you chose, not an evil loser that you've been told you must choose from.

Theodore Roosevelt once said that presidents are chosen, not elected.  So maybe your vote ultimately will not count, but a non vote can never be counted.  So make them count the votes for those that YOU proudly chose.

Despite all of the political corruption, war, poverty and evil brought on by government, America is still a great country.  All of us owe a duty to each other to continually try to make this world a better place.  Not sure where to begin... Getting out to vote November 8th is a great start.

Huettl was not registered as a write-in in any state as far as I can ascertain.
