The campaign:
Nearly a week after Election Day, Theodore "Twinky" Dee Star and VP Harry Butz launched their 2012 run for the White House via Youtube to the soundtrack of Barry White's Love's Theme performed by The Love Unlimited Orchestra.
Twinky and Harry are two clowns who have voices as if they just inhaled helium. In spite of their names, they seem to be female. I am guessing they filmed this on the California coast. Twinky carries around a clown doll named Twiggy.
Twinky's pitch includes-- Clown care and free balloons for all children and a monthly circus party in every city.
Twinky looks at the camera with a stern expression and says, "I ask you, ladies and gentlemen, who is the real clown in this race?"
Aside from the fact they proclaimed their candidacy after the election, it is highly probable both Twinky and Harry were residents of the same state, and the odds are good they were below age 35 in 2012, which all boils down to some formidable obstacles in attaining the office they sought.
Election history: none
Other occupations: clown
Notes:
Hopefully for both candidates these are merely their stage names.
