James Dennis Criveau of of Norfolk, Va. declared his intent to run for President in July 2008. His very conservative campaign had the slogan: "Don't vote Republican, Don't vote Democratic, Vote American."
Criveau was a write-in in Maryland, and was listed as Criveau and Guthrie in Utah. I'll go out on a limb here and guess that "Guthrie" is Tom Guthrie, another conservative activist, who is a resident of North Carolina.
In both Maryland and Utah the reported result was zero votes. Criveau also ran for President in 2012 as an Independent and in 2016-2020 under the Constitutionist Party.
